This is fantastic! I love comparing the various editions of old games over time.
Another question about Risk I often see (and have myself) is how many armies are in a complete set, especially in earlier versions. I suspect there is no definitive answer. I recently found two 2nd edition copies, a 2B & a 2C, it appears, and counting the armies, there are between 64 and 71 blocks for each color (as well as one with 48 & one with 81). No way to know if people lost/found armies at various times, or if the manufacturer just "filled" the boxes & left it at that.
