A friend of mine once went to Venice (about 20 years ago), copied the real projects of a real ancient ship, then he built the whole thing in scale from that plans... i still say to him that he's crazy :)

Yeah, I'd say he was as well - after all the work I've done just to get this far (or rather, short) - building one from scratch is pretty awesome!
