I like the Christmas card idea too! But I think we should keep it on voluntary/optional level...:)
May I suggest that anyone interested post their name and adress at the end of THE ROSTER thread, marking it LoEH X-MAS, or something equally obvious. If you post, you also commit to sending at least one Christmas card to one other name on the list, more if you want, and you're free, but in no way obligated, to include some sort of Heroscape related small gift with the card. ?

Yes, voluntary. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear in my previous posts about it. Forcing someone to be Christmas-y would just never work. :p
Posting everything there is fine with me, but should we put our addresses out there for all to see? Based on other BGG/VGG/RPGG card exchanges I've been involved in, the GeekExchange can work easily, or everybody can PM me their information with the promise that I will not use it for anything bad, and then I can use a formula or simple program that will mix and match. I would need to know how many cards each person would like to send, so a formula I create would be better if people wanted to send more than one. Plus, if it's done this way, every better participating would be guaranteed to get a card. If we just post and ended up with a lot of us, there's a small chance that somebody might fall through the cracks.
Thoughts?
Sorry for the late reply Kristen...:( busy, busy...
I'm sold on the idea, and while I have no problem posting my address in a public post, I can understand why others would not...
So anyone wishing to participate in a Christmas card swap should geekmail their relevant info to Kristen aka VikingPrincess, who, I assume, :) will give us a deadline for doing so, based on whatever work she will have to sort it out...
