I'd argue it seems identical, even. The box lists 64 territories, and while the proportions seem slightly off, it's probably just the angle.I'd be glad to see a reprint, even if it does mean I probably paid too much for my copy. This is still one of my favorite versions of Risk (even considering Risk: Legacy).
