I log mine, but the numbers I contribute aren't useful for such comparisons because you can see all my plays for games that came out in the last 7 years, but none of my plays for the preceding 50 years of gaming. My logged plays would indicate that I've played Castle Ravenloft or Lords of Waterdeep more than I've played Queen's Gambit, but just the opposite is true.
Any game that was released in the last few years has wildly distorted numbers for plays relative to older games. I think it's likely that the percentage of people who do record plays evens out across various genres, so you can probably get a relative sense of how much games get played if they were released in the last couple of years, but comparing plays for games that were released a decade or more back with recent titles can't possibly give valid numbers.
